Workout – Week 2

I had no desire to get out of bed this morning. Last week’s workout was my first steady week-long practice in quite a while, and when it was time to return this morning,  I had no motivation whatsoever.

Then, my daughter woke up and asked me if I was going to do my workout. She wanted to help. Suddenly, I didn’t only feel like I needed to work out, I wanted to work out. Since working out has always felt like a chore and something I just had to do, this feeling of being motivated to do it is new.

My goal is to continue working out and finish my plan for the month. If you want to follow along, I’m keeping track on MyFitnessPal.
